Overview
Redesigned SnackNation's buyer and recipient experience to support the company's pivot from office snack delivery to home delivery during the 2020 pandemic. Designed gift credit flows, signature bundle experiences, and responsive layouts using React.
The Problem
The 2020 pandemic eliminated office workers, decimating SnackNation's core B2B snack delivery business. The company needed to rapidly pivot its business model from office delivery to home delivery, enabling companies to gift snacks and experiences to remote employees.
The Solution
Designed comprehensive buyer and recipient flows including Auto Notify, Gift Credit, Signature Bundle, and Curation experiences. Created responsive layouts for desktop and mobile using React, enabling buyers to send individual employees snacks while working from home.

Auto Notify Flow
The buyers of companies in which SnackNation provided products to has an access to a dashboard provided by SnackNation. The task was to add a new feature to send individual employees of the respective companies snacks while working from home.
Spruce Buyer (Gift "Signature Bundle" & Credit) Flow
The buyer will have the option to send a Gift Credit or a Signature Bundle.
The following flow is for a Gift Credit, with an option for the recipient to select a curated box or to customize the contents of the box.

An employee of a company receives an email from their company’s buyer informing them that they have credit for a SnackNation box of products ready to be delivered to them.
Spruce Recipient (Curation) Flow
An employee of a company receives an email notification informing them that they have been gifted a box and requested to redeem it.
Responsive layout for mobile environment
Employing the React framework, we ensured the adaptability of the layout across diverse devices, encompassing desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
The rapid 3-month redesign enabled SnackNation's successful pivot from office to home delivery, generating $4.2M in new monthly revenue. The gift redemption rate of 89% validated the user-centered approach to the buyer-recipient dual experience.
