Private Shuttle Booking App for Dispatchers
Overview
Designed a mobile booking app enabling dispatchers to book private shuttle trips for retired individuals who are unfamiliar with mobile technology. The app allowed dispatchers to quickly book rides on fixed routes without needing map functionality, streamlining the call-center-to-booking workflow.
Problem
Retired residents in a designated community relied on calling a dispatch center to book shuttle rides for daily tasks. Dispatchers used a legacy desktop system that was slow, error-prone, and couldn't handle the volume of requests efficiently, leading to long hold times and missed bookings.
Solution
Created a streamlined mobile booking app for dispatchers with a simplified flow optimized for speed. Eliminated map functionality (routes were fixed) and focused on rapid booking with minimal taps. Included a custom design system for consistency across the dispatcher interface.
